What Exactly Is the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)?

Who Needs to Submit the TDAC Form?

All international travelers must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) before arriving in the country. However, there are two exceptions:

  • Travelers in transit who remain in the airport and do not pass through immigration

  • Individuals holding a Border Pass entering through specific border crossing points

Travelers are required to submit their Digital Arrival Card within 3 days before their scheduled arrival in Thailand—counting the arrival day as well.

This window allows enough time for the system to process and verify all submitted travel details efficiently.

The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) replaces the older paper-based system with a convenient digital process, making entry into Thailand simpler and faster. Travelers can also complete the form through the official Thai Immigration website at: http://tdac.immigration.go.th

There are two ways to submit your TDAC:

  • Single Application – Best suited for individual travelers

  • Group Application – Ideal for families or groups entering Thailand together

You can update your application details before your trip, allowing flexibility for any last-minute adjustments.

Applying for the TDAC is fast and straightforward. Just follow these steps:

  1. Select your application type – Choose between individual or group submission

  2. Complete all sections of the form, including:

    • Your personal information

    • Travel and accommodation details

    • Health-related declarations

  3. Submit your form and wait for confirmation, which will be sent to your email

Once submitted, your application will be reviewed and processed in time for your upcoming trip.
